After Hours: If you need medical advice when our office is closed, please call us at 907-777-1800. You will be directed to our off-site Pediatric Night Call Nurse. The nurse will assess the problem and depending upon the severity will:
Give advice on how to treat your child at home and recommend follow-up care
Consult the on-call pediatrician as appropriate
Recommend that your child be seen at a local Urgent Care or Emergency Room
All calls received by the Pediatric Night Call Nurse are documented and forwarded to our office the following day. Please do not call this service for prescription refills, to make appointments or for non-urgent problems.
Texting with ACP: You can now text or call with ACP via our main number: 907-777-1800! We have both standard and secure text messaging options. Messages sent from ACP in bulk to all of our families will come from our toll-free number 833-453-1398 and will be redirected to our main line. With two-way texting families can communicate with ACP about any needs. For example, from your mobile texting app you can:
Schedule visits
Receive appointment confirmation and reminder messages
Request medication refills
Send ACP photos
Ask a nurse a question
Update your billing information
If there are multiple patients attached to your phone number, our system will ask us which patient you are texting about. Once you select the correct patient, we will be able to communicate with you about any needs! Since our system is patient based, we may ask you to text SWITCH to text us about a different patient.
Most messages can be sent via standard text messages, but when we are sending or you need to send anything that contains identifiable patient health information, we will use secure messaging. Secure messaging utilizes an online portal. Your login is your phone number and once that is verified, you will choose the patient by name and verify date of birth for security. From there you will see an online history of our texting and you will be able to write a secure message and send attachments securely.
If you need to update the primary mobile for your family, please text us from the correct number and we will update our records. In certain instances, you may receive automated messages generated by our Electronic Health Record. Those messages will come from a number other than our main line or toll-free number and cannot accept response messages.
